"Seizure" is a first season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Plot summary
A woman is killed in an hotel with the MO fitting that of a serial killer already in custody awaiting trial, Kevin Reddick. The DA is looking for another killer, and meanwhile the defense is trying to get charges dropped against Reddick. Detectives Goren and Eames must work fast in order to prevent Reddick from being released. The investigation leads them to neurological doctor Cathleen Dwyer, an obsessive compulsive woman who fell in love with Reddick while working with him three times over the course of a few months. Dr. Buckman, Dwyer's co-worker, was working with Reddick to scapegoat Dwyer into all the killings because Reddick's brain scan did not show a lesion that Dr. Buckman was trying to prove must exist in a human brain in order to make that person capable of killing, but Dwyer did have the lesion.
